Masterclasses are now available with the authors of Singing on Stage: An Actor’s Guide, which was recently nominated for ‘Outstanding Book of the Year Award for Theatre and Higher Education’ (ATHE) and was also named in the ‘Top 7 Training Books of 2014’ by ‘The Stage’.
The authors have worked with organisations both in the UK and USA, including RADA, Juilliard, Tisch/NYU, Mountview Academy, Shenandoah University, Oregon State University, Lewis and Clark College, Hofstra University, HB Studios.
These classes enable the singing actor to develop his or her vocal skills while working in a group. Jane or Philip will create a safe environment where singers are able to explore their individual singing voices and dramatic possibilities and to identify their next steps.
These classes have had a very positive response both in the UK and USA, and can be tailored to the needs and schedule of your particular programme. If you are interested in booking a session with your students, please contact us at info@singingonstage.co.uk.
Selected feedback:
“Jane Streeton brought her expertise, knowledge and wit to an informative Master Class based on her years of experience as a teacher at RADA and as a performer. Our students connected with the text and communicated the songs they presented in completely different ways after Jane’s insightful feedback. Her comments really resonated with our students – Jane left them inspired to seek the equation of text and music balance in every performance and audition in their futures.”

“Your class was a HUGE hit. The buzz on Facebook started almost immediately. Thank you for bringing us your unique combination of expertise and humanity. Both the students and the faculty were delighted with the evening. And it’s as if you were still here, because all the voice faculty who displayed the small poster for your class have left them up ever since.”
